Anita Harry
With a global background in leadership and operations, Anita has built her career leading large groups of professionals, managing complex operations, and creating high-performing workplaces where people can do their best work. Her people-centered approach focuses on fostering supportive environments where skilled professionals have the support and resources to thrive. As Hospital Director at the AECFV, she is dedicated to ensuring the hospital operates smoothly so veterinary professionals can focus on what matters most, delivering compassionate, high-quality care to animals and the families who love them.
Originally from the north of England, Anita moved to Canada in 2021 after several years living and working in China. During that time, she led diverse groups and worked with people from a wide range of backgrounds, an experience that continues to shape how she fosters collaboration and connects with the communities the hospital serves. A lifelong animal lover, she shares her home with her extremely sassy yet lovable French Bulldog, Bǎobǎo, who made the journey with her from China and is never far from her side.
When she is not at the hospital, Anita enjoys exploring the world with her family, immersing herself in new cultures and cuisines, and spending time outdoors with Bǎobǎo, making the most of everything beautiful British Columbia has to offer.
